Have you ever wanted to totally change your life? Your way of life? The environment in which you live? Your work/life balance? Do you ever reflect on what it might be like to put those dreams into action and DO IT? Does the enormity of making those changes overwhelm you?

I absolutely understand and empathise. Suffolk is our home, our children were born here and have spent the first 11 and 13 years of their lives here. We have a very comfortable life here with friends, family, wonderful neighbours and a beautiful home. But we have always dreamed of a genuinely rural life and the opportunity spontaneously presented itself in the summer of 2021; so we took it.

There is a saying attributed to Richard Branson which essentially goes "When you're presented with an opportunity, say yes and then figure it out." This was very much the mantra we called upon, big time! But we have done so on the understanding that we won't always get it right. We just need to know that we did not succumb to the golden handcuffs, living forever in our gilded cage.
